This Monument Company was originally established in the late 1800's by its original founder Frank Hummel. Starting from a small shop in Versailles, Ohio, monuments were supplied to local citizens and funeral homes. In 1900 Mr. Edwin F. Nickol, who was an employee of the Monument Company, purchased the company and the business took on the name of Edwin F. Nickol. In 1917, the company became Incorporated and established the name Edwin F. Nickol, Inc.
At Edwin F. Nickol, Inc, we design, engrave, deliver and set memorials. Each stone monument is processed in our plant where we finish the final product before delivery. Our showroom displays a wide range of products including a large selection of bronze memorials, benches, infant memorials, and vases, memorial stones and memorial photos. We also offer samples of our custom design work which includes signs, boulders and other custom projects.
